Diamond - LEADERSHIP
Using skills learned from all five GEM levels, the girls will exemplify the qualities of poise, confidence, character and presence to think and act creatively in difficult situations. They will establish a clear vision using knowledge and methods to lead and organize diverse individuals and groups.
Emerald - EMPOWERMENT
This level will help girls realize their abilities and potential, perhaps for the first time. Our community pioneers (Movers & Shakers), will educate and empower these girls to go after their dreams with assertiveness and authority.
Pearl - COMMUNICATION
Understanding the power of words and the effects of those words, the girls will connect and exchange information based off of current affairs, ideas, people and places. They will release their fears and inconsistencies when the opportunity arises for public speaking to a group or individual with confidence and authority.
Ruby - COMMUNITY
This level will concentrate on helping the GEMS implement and understand the impact of working and giving back to the community in such areas as volunteering, service projects, neighborhood beautification, recycling, and Go Green initiatives.
Opal - TEAMWORK
This level will focus on your abilities to work well together with others to achieve a common goal using individual skills, and cooperation in circumstances despite personal conflict between individuals or a group.
Sapphire - MOTIVATION
This is the first stage of becoming a GEM, at this level you are going to be, "Fired Up and Ready to Go". Discovering more about yourself and the skill sets that you posses to catapult you and build your self esteem.
